Description of 1968 Dodge Charger Restomod |
True R/T 68 Dodge Charger with a board, balanced & blue printed 440 with a six pack, 4 speed HEMI trans & over 90% restored. The Charger sets on a completed rolling chassis, the entire power train is in the car & ready to be wired up. All brake lines, gas lines & pretty much all components under the car are put together & ready to go. The car includes a new Painless Wiring system & most parts to get her on the road. The only parts that were not repurchased was the exhaust system, the radiator, Classic Auto air box/controls & a few interior trim parts. The entire car has been disassembled & rebuilt from the ground up. We had the miles reset to “0” when we had the gauge cluster professionally restored. How often does a brand new 1968 Dodge Charger R/T drop in your lap like this? Not many for sure. The motor work was done by Frank Teague Automotive & Racing of Hickory & you will not be disappointed. The motor has a 10:1 compression ratio, Purple cam, Bodex heads, Mopar performance parts everywhere, six pack Carter carbs & a serpentine system... the 440 RB big block will be an absolute beast. The body is straight as an arrow, has never been in an accident & has been in our family from the beginning. The beautiful red paint is incredibly deep & photos just do not give it justice. My 1968 Dodge Charger R/T was a Father-son project that ended way to soon. The only reason I have not finished the restore, or selling her at all is the fact that I lost my eye sight, (Retinitis Pigmintosa for those wondering), about three years before my Father's health declined. This is basically a brand-new 68 Charger R/T that needs very little to have her on the road. Great Mopar project car for any Charger enthusiast. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I also have hundreds of photos on a shared Google album as well. I will entertain offers and/or trades as well. A $500.00 deposit will need to be deposited via PayPal upon winning the auction & the remaining balance within seven days. Local pick up only. Buyer is responsible for shipping.Good luck & thank you. |
