Description of 1993 Dodge Ram 3500

Okay Boys and girls. First off, I'm listing this truck for a friend. He is not an eBay person, and I am, so I'm listing it for him and helping him sell it. Please keep in mind that this truck is located in Lovettesville, VA. It is NOT in Winston Salem NC and it WILL NOT be in Winston Salem, NC. Let me repeat that... THIS TRUCK IS LOCATED IN LOVETTESVILLE, VA.Now, a little history. My friend is recently retired from Caterpillar. He was a technician with Caterpillar for 32 years. He purchased this truck before he retired and totally redid it because he was going to start a small business doing what he had done for the past 32 years. After he built this truck, and after he retired, he changed his mind about going into business and now he has no need for the truck any more. He does cruise it around, and he occasionally uses it to haul stuff to the dump, but basically it's just a garage ornament and he would like the space in the garage. This man is a fabricator, welder, and mechanic. He builds beautiful hot rod trucks as a hobby and he's run out of room in the garage to store them all. If this truck doesn't sell, he will just start keeping it outside, and he'll just have another truck to keep waxed. With all that being said, here is a list of what he's done to the truck.

He has obviously done a complete paint job on the truck. Its a really nice green and it's a perfect color for this truck.
The four speed overdrive automatic transmission was replaced at 169,158 miles and works GREAT!

I have ridden in this truck several times, and I can tell you that everywhere this truck goes it draws a crowd. We've had people stop us at traffic lights just to talk about the truck. People stop him in parking lots wanting to check out this truck. You could EASILY take this truck to Cars And Coffee on Saturday mornings. It's THAT sweet. The COOL FACTOR of this truck is totally off the charts. It fires right up and purrs like a kitten. Everything on this truck works perfectly with the exception of the cruise control. It IS running a straight exhaust, but it's NOT obnoxious. Sounds good.
Now for the finer details...Truck is located in Lovettesville, VA and it is the buyers responsibility to pick it up or arrange all shipping. A large truck will NOT fit down his driveway, but I'm sure he would be willing to meet your shipper someplace to get it shipped. If picking it up in person, BRING CASH. Otherwise you're going to be disappointed because the truck won't leave his garage until ALL funds have totally cleared. I'm aware of the scams out here and I don't fall for them. If paying with a cashiers check, it must clear the bank before the truck leaves. This can take up to two weeks. No, we won't take your check from Timbucktoo for several thousand dollars over the asking price and send you the balance. I didn't just fall off the turnip truck. Please keep your scams to yourself. Let me just add this... My friend DOES NOT need to sell this truck. He doesn't need money. He's trying to make some room in his garage because he has too many toys. (This truck stays in the garage every night) If it sells, GREAT. If it doesn't, not a big deal because he LOVES to cruise this thing around. Please don't lowball us, it's NOT gonna happen. Also, this truck is listed locally, so this auction may end at any time.
