. DESCRIPTION . 1949 DODGE B1C-116 STOCK "EXPRESS" PICKUP,3/4 TON, DAILY DRIVER, 218 ci FLATHEAD-6 ENGINE ★ Rare California VIN, MATCHING SERIAL #s to Dodge's 1949 Build Records ★ 9.88 - 12.88 / 11.88 ► VEHICLE DESCRIPTION ------------------------------------------------ Featured OEM Stock Truck: Built on July 5, 1949 at the Dodge Plant in Los Angeles, CA — yes, a rare California VIN! This is your opportunity to own a very difficult to find DODGE RAM TRUCK, made less than 4 years after the end of WWII! An unmolested STOCK pickup, a well cared for daily driver (not a "trailer queen") ... a TIME MACHINE to 1949, just like stepping back to the end of WWII when Truman was US President! Includes a copy of the Original Dodge "Build Record" from Chrysler Historical showing ALL MATCHING SERIAL NUMBERS from 1949 on the truck today (VIN Tag, Engine Number, Firewall Body Tag, etc.). The truck is rust free from life in the high desert, never having travelled further than 50 miles from the Dodge factory where it was made on July 5, 1949. You are not likely to find a more authentically correct 1949 Dodge Truck elsewhere! See the dozens of behind-the-wheel Driving Videos of this specific Truck on YouTube (go to YouTube, search: DPCD, look for the familiar B&W round logo, usually the first results). Especially when in stock condition,1940's Dodge Trucks are regularly experiencing value growth due to their rarity. This is not another common Ford or Chevy pickup. This truck has not been adulterated into one guy's concept of a "hotrod". This stock truck is both a great investment as well as a truck that will capture the attention of anyone who sees it. This truck turns heads when driving down the street. General Summary: this is a completely stock 74 year old 1949 Dodge 3/4 ton pickup with a very rare California VIN (from the Los Angeles Dodge plant) that is driven regularly. Paint has a few drip marks or minor wear on things like top of the bed rails, rear fenders, driver's door or hood, etc. for example at wear points (e.g. hood hinge). Why? This is a working "shop truck" lovingly cared for that is still "on the road". The truck is rust free from life in the high desert, never having travelled further than 50 miles from the Dodge factory where it was made on July 5, 1949. ► See the dozens of behind-the-wheel Driving Videos of this specific Truck on YouTube (go to YouTube, search: DPCD, look for the familiar B&W round logo, usually the first results).
