Description of 1975 Dodge B200 Tradesman van

Ok, I acquired this van winter of 2009. First thing I did was put it in my garage and take it pretty much all apart. I've had many custom vehicles in my life, and in 2009 not too many vans were being spoke of---altho that's changed now I believe. Pictures will show the story above. I fairly well gutted the insides, and motor/trans/suspension/brakes and especially the drivers cockpit. I was going for a "ZZTop" effect to some degree. I'm currently nearly 66 years old, no children, so I'm able to have some pretty nice things in years past. I took the engine out and had another 318 block all machined and serviced, Keith Black Hypereutectic Pistons .040 over, and acquired a nice pair of Bowl Cut heads with the larger valves installed (see pictures) and put the block together with a nice AAR grind bumpety cam. I went thru the trans while apart, installed a Hurst shift improver in it and also A new front pump assembly complete and a new B&M Torqmaster Converter. It has some pretty crisp shifts for sure. It has a Chrysler 9.25 - 3.2:1 Differential which mostly came standard on these vans I understand. It has 2 batteries with a marine isolator, pretty much for the stereo and interior lights to play out. I installed an A/C system from ACKits.com, Bamboo flooring, Bamboo Roofing. Fantastic Fan powered ceiling vent and a lot of LED lighting. The Cobra CB was tweaked to be effective, but I've never used it. And then so many other goodies I'm sure I'll forget to mention 50% of it. I have video of it running and giving you the bumpety bump, so those who need it to decide on purchase can let me know and I'll send you a copy. Ebay will not let me post it for some reason. No worries. It also has new cross drilled & slotted rotors with carbon pads....just something I wanted to do. All suspension was redone, tie rods, ball joints, shocks, Firm Feel steering box, wheel brgs, etc. And I just recently had it aligned at the local Goodyear. They loved it and took extra good care. The steering column in chrome was a cool add on I thought.
It drives good for a 50 year old "tank", but it's not the luxury ride some may seek. But it is quite cool to make the beach run here near Pensacola and Destin Florida and it gets abundant ooohs and aaaahs for sure. It's a great street cruiser but I don't care for the highway trips. Not used to having a motor winding out at 3k rpms to do highway travel at $3.50+ a gallon of gas. Sidepipes have a nice roar tho. I believe the engine to be quite stout and sound, but I'm squeamish about driving it about as it seems people get too close and wish to run into it, so it mostly sits in my garage. That's okay, my thrill was to put it all together anyway.
That's all Bamboo Hardwood, not a laminate. And Marine Grade Carpeting. I had the front carpets all custom made in purple of course. Found a nice pair of captain's bucket seats that compliment the color scheme well I believe. Alpine AM/FM/CD....but not a smart unit.
SO, I've ABSOLUTELY no interest in ripping you off. We can drive it together, me behind the wheel until we have a deal. It's nearly 50 years old, but doesn't show it's age as you can see in the pix. Some of those pix were taken today!...some of them as the build progressed. The odometer shows about 1299 miles today, remember I changed it at 98260. So....I've put about 3000 miles on it just local cruising. For me, it was the thrill of putting it together....not running the legs off of it. AND, I viewed it as an investment to be honest.
we'll be doing this legal at a bank, so no problems for you or me. Bank of America or Regions bank will be fine. Cashier's check or transfer is best for us both. I have a clear Florida title. It's ready to go today. If you like to have something cool to prank on, this is your baby. I'd recommend trailering it away, but that's your call. That's how I've kept it so nice. I'm happy to help with your shipping as I've done with others I've sold--just need to be clear on the financing and paperwork. It's currently insured thru Hagerty. Best price and coverage for sure for something like this. I offer no other warranties or guarantees.
