Owner's Notes

This car has never been driven in rain or snow and originally came from Texas, so there’s no rust anywhere. The transmission was recently rebuilt and has only a few hundred miles on it. The A/C was tested several years ago and blew cold at the time, but since it's rarely needed in North Dakota or Minnesota, it hasn’t been used since.

Both the interior and exterior were restored approximately 500 miles ago, though that was a few years back. I also installed new rear springs, heavy-duty shocks, and welded-in frame connectors. New tie rod ends and new ball joints. New complete wheel bearings on all four axles.

I upgraded the front brakes to discs from a 1973 Duster a setup found on some late production '69 models.

This is a two-owner Texas car that I found abandoned in a ditch. Getting the title was a challenge, I had to work with a guy in New Jersey because their process for titling abandoned vehicles was the easiest at the time. When I found the car, it still had its Texas license plates. I was able to run an NCIC check and found the original owner’s name, but he was never located.
