Description of 1969 Dodge Power Wagon

For Sale is a 1969 Dodge W100 Power Wagon Short Bed 4X4. This is a very rare truck. If you want a nice dependable driver that gets attention and no one else at the car show or cruise night has. this is your truck. Some people looking at this ad may have seen it on Ebay a month ago. I bought it from a somewhat misleading ad. The ad said it was just tuned but would need tires and brakes. I assumed that just tuned meant that it ran well. It barely ran and the clutch didn't hold. I have went through the entire truck. Here is an accurate description of what was done. 318 was removed and gone through. Timing chain had jumped. some push rods were bent and some valve came in contact with pistons. So motor was freshened up. Starts easily. runs strong. purs like a kitten and from what I've driven it. seems to be decent on fuel economy and I think you could drive it anywhere with confidence. Clutch was repaired when the motor was out. Ignition was upgraded to Petronix electronic. Complete new exhaust. Exhaust is no longer available. so it was custom bent from the motor back. All aluminized pipe. stainless steel muffler. all new hangers. New brakes shoes and cylinders at all 4 wheels. Stops good and stops straight. Parking brake cables are not easily found. so a hydraulic brake lock was installed for a parking brake. Since it has a manual transmission. a parking brake is very nice to have. A few lights did not work. those have been repaired. Corroded splices under the cab were repaired and sealed with heat shrink. Cosmetic repairs include:Both bumpers painted. itch painted. Wheels painted. Tires were dismounted. then remounted and balanced for this. Dash paintedNew carpet. New seat cover. The seat cover is universal and not a great fit. but looks ok. New bed liner sprayed in. colored to match. I think that tells the story. Not totally rust free or perfect. but a nice. dependable and solid driver that will give you lots of enjoyment. The speedometer does not work. It needs the head repaired or replaced. There are some used ones available and also some repair services available. Since most cell phones have a built in speedometer and true miles are unknown. I opted not to fix this. Ebay requires a number. so I put something down.
