Description of 1972 Dodge Charger |
This is a '72 Charger project that is in great shape and ready to be built. I got this car on a package deal and all the metal work was an extra incentive. I did none of the work on it. know no history of it and am simply offering to someone who can fix it and enjoy!Originally a 318 V8 car with automatic transmission and a/c. p/s. disc brakes etc. Car didnt have a vinyl roof so the roof is in nice shape. Needs to be finished but is in great condition for an easy restoration or really simple driver project. Car is as you see it and pics are current. The floors are solid and in great shape with no rust. The trunk is in great shape and the trunk extensions were replaced. Front windows chrome is in trunk. Trunk gutters are rust-free as is rear window metal and surrounding area. All glass is in the car. The doors are straight and the bottoms good metal. Car had new quarters hung on it and the original wheels wells were retained. There is one place needing slight attention as seen in last pics. Cowl is very nice and front inner fenders are in good shape. Hood is straight and fits well. The front fenders are in pretty good shape but down near the driver side dog-leg where the door and fender meet there is some slight rust. The rockers are solid and in great shape but has a small piece of rust where front driver fender comes down and attaches also shown in last pic. Should not be a big deal and a simple fix but I want to disclose all I know about it. The metal work is all done and car is very solid for any car 42 years old. It should make an awesome car with minimal investment. Any questions you may have Im available 8am-10pm EST at 803-470-9108. I will do all i can to answer any and all questions including pics or videos if need be. Please only bid if you are seriously interested in this classic Mopar and ready for this project. NO bidders with zero feedback please! Thank You |
