You are looking at a absolutely gorgeous 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T with a 440 6-pak and factory air conditioning! For those who do not know it is the high performance 440 with 3 carbs! This motor even though not original to the car ( original motor was a 440 Magnum ) it is however fully rebuilt and detailed to a showroom quality finish. The restoration does not stop there. We also have a rebuilt 727 automatic 3-speed tranny with a 4th gear addition with a push of a button! The rear end also rebuilt all having under 900 miles means you have a fully rebuilt and proven powertrain. Open up the hood and all you see is new or rebuilt everything. Just look at the current photos. They speak for themselves. Lets go to the exterior. Again everything new or restored. Rotisserie restoration all the way! New paint new tires new wheels new chrome new vinyl top new glass restored moldings restored drip rails new stripe NEW EVERYTHING! This is not a cheap restoration. This was done right. Everything was removed prior to paint. Everything. The interior is just as nice. New vinyl seat covers new carpet new headliner new seat belts new dash and new interior door paint. What's left? Now lets go to the under carriage. Everything again was addressed. Everything new or refurbished. Again this was avery detailed rotisserierestoration. All front and rear suspension components painted and or powder coated. New brakes new exhaust uni-body painted new or refurbished everything. Again less than 900 miles since completion. Just look at the photos. Again they speak for themselves. Pictures do not lie. Super Nice! This is not a numbers matching car but I tell you this factory born 440 Magnum Coronet R/T was born with many options from the factory with very few changes. The options listed are on the fender tag with all the codes and their meanings listed below:R11 - Music Master solid state AM radioV1W - Vinyl Roof (White)V88 - Transverse stripe delete26 - 26inch radiatorC55- Bucket SeatsG33 - Left Hand Remote Racing MirrorH51 - AC with heaterJ25- 3 Speed WipersM21 - roof rail drip moldingsM25 - Wide Sill MoldingsB5 - Bright Blue Metallic Top PaintB5 - Bright Blue Metallic Bottom PaintP6D - Premium Dark Blue Vinyl InteriorB7 - Medium Blue Metallic Interior PaintE-86- High Performance 440 4-BBL V-8D32 - Heavy Duty Torque Flight 3-Speed Auto311 - March 11 1969 Production Date (scheduled)257531 - Vehicle Order Number The Vin also gives us a story on what this car was when it was born. Some have been changed over the years. Things such as a black vinyl top instead of the factory white black vinyl interior instead of the factory blue rear stripe addition instead of the factory stripe delete and theADDITION of a period correct factory 6-pak intake and carbsto turn this into a 440 6-pak with a 4-speed option! This is a fully restored example of one fine MOPAR that will just give you goose bumps when you hit the throttle. Just pure awesome! With that fourth gear addition you can cruise at 70MPH at 2500 RPM to get you to the car show in a hurry without worry. And with those hot summer days coming you have factory air conditioning to keep you and the gal cool inside. Everything rebuilt to new condition! As with anything there are some minor flaws that need to be addressed to be completely honest on the condition. Paint on the hood as a couple of imperfections lower dash paint fading a bit sun visors can use a redo and rear view mirror needs replacing. Other than that I can't see anything more! Keep in mind any car you find will need some sort of fine tuning. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. This car needsvery minimal effortto have a show quality example of a 1969 Dodge Coronet R/T. Just an amazing find...... |
