Description of 1971 Dodge Charger SUPER BEE |
1971 DODGE SUPER BEE, THIS CAR STARTED OUT AS A VERY RARE 383 3 SPEED, ONLY 203 WERE MADE. I DONT KNOW WHERE THE ORIGINAL ENGINE OR TRANS ARE. IT NOW HAS A 1969 MODEL 440 THAT I BELIEVE HAS BEEN REBUILT RECENTLY WITH CORRECT 6 PACK SET UP AS FAR AS THE WAY IT LOOKS, I HAVE NOT CHECKED THE #'S OF THE CARBS. THE TRANS SHIFTS GOOD BUT IT NEEDS A REAR SEAL. (SMALL LEAK) I BELIEVE IT HAS THE ORGINIAL REAR END 8 3/4 WITH 3.23 GEARS. IT HAS A NEW POWER STEERING PUMP, GEAR AND PITMAN ARM. THE BRAKE SYSTEM HAS BEEN RESTORED NEW CALIPERS, DRUMS, ROTORS, BEARINGS, SPRINGS, WHEEL CYLINDERS, SHOES AND PADS ETC. THE CAR IS AN EXCELLENT DRIVER, THE PAINT HAS BEEN PAINTED OVER 1 TIME SINCE ORIGINAL TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE. IT HAS INPERFECTIONS IN IT AND IT DOES NEED TO BE REPAINTED IF YOU WANT A SHOW CAR. ALL THE GLASS IS IN GOOD CONDITION AND THE WINDOW REGULATORS WORK EXCELLENT. THE DASH NEEDS TO BE RECOVERED HAS A CAP ON IT NOW. THE BEZEL HAS BEEN CUT FOR RADIO. FRONT SEATS ARE FROM A 74 CHARGER. AND ARE THE SAME FRAMES BUT NEED THE CORRECT COVERS. CARPET OK CONDITION AND HEAD LINER NEEDS CLEANING BUT NO TEARS. THE DOOR PANELS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE BUT HAS SOME OF THE CHROME FLAKING OFF OF THE TRIM. THE TIRES ARE IN GREAT SHAPE. THE CAR WAS UNDERCOATED FROM THE FACTORY AND ALL IS STILL THERE, I CAN FIND NO SPOTS OF WHERE IT HAS BEEN REMOVED OR MODIFIED. INSIDE OF THE DOORS AND QTRS WERE SPRAYED WITH THE SAME TYPE OF MATERIAL AND SMALL PLUGS INSTALLED. BACK IN THE DAY IT WAS CALLED ULTRA SEAL. BUT IT WORKED VERY WELL IN PROTECTING THE METAL FROM RUST. AS SEEN IN THE PICTURES I BELIEVE THE SPARE AND JACK TO BE ORIGINAL. THE ODOMETER SHOWS 15, 20 BUY THE LOOKS OF EVERYTHING I WOULD FEEL SAFE TO SAY IT'S 115, 20 NOT 215, 20? IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE GIVE ME A CALL SEVEN70-722-SEVEN837. (SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE) NOTE: TO ALL THE SALE'S PEOPLE TRYING TO ASSIST ME IN SELLING THIS CAR, nbsp; PLEASE DO NOT CALL ME YOU ARE WASTING YOUR'S AND MY TIME. IF THIS CAR DOES NOT SELL I WILL NOT RELIST IT I WILL KEEP IT AND CONTINUE ON WITH THE RESTORATION. |
