Description of 1971 Chevrolet Other |
Nice clean 1971 Chevy Vega that I have to sell. don't want to but I'm forced to. Body: very clean body. I bought it because it has a pretty much rust free body. The paint job is poor. old paint. The doors are very clean on the under seams. no rust or thick seams. even in the corners are clean. They were a little weak on the paint so I brushed some paint under them. Also removed the door panels and painted inside of the seams. Fenders are clean. quarters are clean. Around all the windows look good. Trunk is clean. I do see some patches that have been done on the inner fender wells. I know the 71 models did not have any wheel well covers and pretty much rusted in this area off the showroom floor. underneath is clean. may be a little oily in spots from the 4 banger. All other things like the grill. nbsp;bumpers. lights. hood. nbsp;valences. trim and windows are really good. Trust me when you buy a Vega it's good to have these things in good shape. these things can add up fast if you had to replace all of it. Interior: Interior is good. The dash pad is good no cracks. the carpet looks new. All the door panels are there. The back seat looks good. The front buckets need covers. the seems gave way on them very common on these. There is some kind of aftermarket radio in it. Motor: 350 4bolt main. The following parts are BRAND NEW. Eagle crank. Eagle rods. Pistons. Aluminum small chamber heads. Edwards cam. Quality lifters and pushrods. roller rockers. timing chain and aluminum cover. oil pump. correct Moroso oil pan. Distributor and coil. Intake manifold and Holley 750 dp. Damper. pulleys. nice lightweight starter. aluminum water pump. Griffin aluminum radiator. Sanderson headers. Has Mechanical fan and a electric fan in front. I'm sure I missed things. Everything is new. I do not have any exhaust on it. I have only ran it for a couple of minutes on open headers. just enough to see good oil pressure. That's how far I got. but now I am pretty much being force to sell it. This motor was built for 400hp pump gas. Trans: 200r4 with a TCI reverse pattern full manual control constant pressure valve body. wasn't cheap. A street 2500 stall converter. new flex plate. New BM trans super cooler and steel lines. Also new drive shaft. Will need a shifter for it. I made a small trans cross member for it. I was going to add to it when the exhaust was put on. Rear end is stock. but I do have a rear end from a s10 that is included along with fresh front spindles and calipers and rotors. Also have the cones for the ball joints included. Also has Monza frame plates and new motor mounts. New battery mounted in trunk area. Stock gas tank and pump. Make a Offer. My reserve is low for what I have in it. Would make a nice little sleeper. /p>On Jan-12-15 at 14:26:04 PST. seller added the following information:I have the title for the car.
