Description of 1993 Eagle Talon TSi |
Up for bid is this 1993 Eagle Talon TSi AWD Turbo 5-speed manual car. See below for Pictures Gallery Web Page. Power steering. power brakes. cruise control. power locks. and tinted power windows. Please see the pictures for body and interior condition. Not perfect. but definitely driver quality. The tires are in good condition with a lot of life left in the tread. they are less than one year old with about 8k miles on them. The wheels are 17s and the car is lowered with Tein S-Tech springs on KYB gas struts. The transmission has solid bushings in the shifter levers on the transmission. The timing belt was replaced 30k miles ago along with the balance shaft belt and idler bearings. The head was rebuilt at 190k when the timing belt was done. The radiator. battery. and front cv shafts have all been replaced within the last few years. The car is relatively stock. When I purchased the car. it had a small front mount intercooler. a-pillar boost gauge (Auto Meter). and a 3" down pipe. I have a 2g exhaust manifold on it with an Evo III O2 sensor housing on the exhaust side of the stock turbo. Air conditioning condenser was removed from the car at some time. As far as I know all the other air conditioning parts are there. That is the only thing that was not functioning on the car when it broke. along with the gas struts for the rear hatch no longer being able to support the hatch. The engine is currently out of the car along with the transmission and transfer case. I pulled the engine due to a cooling issue. and I'm selling it because I've lost interest. I decided to just buy a new car. The valve cover to oil pan is still on the engine. so it is still sealed up other than the intake and exhaust ports in the head. If you would like details on this please message me. but the engine was still running. no knocks. no strange noise. I believe a cooling passage somewhere in the engine has become plugged. since the water pump still pumps water but the radiator stays cool when the car is over heating. even with the thermostat removed. While the engine is out I planned on putting a new rear output shaft seal on the transfer case to stop that from leaking. The clutch was still working fine. but I planned on putting in a new one since everything is apart. The engine consumes a little bit of oil and could use a freshen up along with a proper decking so a new MLS gasket will seal (I did not deck the block when I put the rebuilt head on it. and as a result. the front left corner of the head to block area weeps oil). The engine is a first gen 7-bolt 4g63. I have the factory wheels that will go with the car along with miscellaneous parts. Everything that I disassembled I put the bolts back into the holes they came out of so that the car shouldn't be too bad to put back together. I am listing this for my son. The car is 20 minutes away at his house. Please call well before the end of the auction if you have any questions about the Talon. Shipping is the buyer's responsibility; however. I would recommend a truck and a trailer. The trailer will be for the car and whatever fits inside it. The truck can hold the engine. trans. t-case. set of wheels/tires. and any other parts that come with the car. Rust Free. The engine stand IS NOT INCLUDED. No warranty or guarantee.
