Description of 1960 Edsel

1960 Edsel Ranger This is an extremely rare car. One of only 777 two-door sedans produced in 1960. This particular example is completely original except for one re-spray in the original color of Cadet Blue Metallic and routine maintenance. The paint is an older re-spray that is starting to show its age but looks great. It has only 81. 78 original miles and is in excellent condition inside and out. This car has all the original body panels and floorboards and is completely rust free. All of the body panels are straight and well fit and completely “bondo free. ” Beautiful original chrome with no rust or pitting. Beautiful original stainless and trim. Very well preserved original interior that looks almost the same as it did the day if left the factory. Under the hood is the original y-block 292ci V8. It is mated to the original Mile-O-Matic two-speed automatic transmission. It runs and drives excellent. Everything works perfect except for the clock and horn are inoperable. This Edsel still has multiple oil change stickers in the door jam dating back to the early 1970’s. It has a clear title and two matching rear fender skirts not shown in the photos.
