1986 Ferrari 328 GTS 1986 Ferrari 328 GTS Chassis no. 61669 Finished in Rosso Corsa over Nero interior. this Ferrari 328 is in beautiful original condition and has been well maintained since new. This three owner car spent the majority of it's life in Virginia and upstate New York. Current mileage is 44. 00 original miles. which equates to only 1. 00 miles per year. A major service was just completed including belts. tensioners (Hill Engineering). spark plugs. thermostat. oil. air and fuel filters. along with relevant gaskets and seals. Other recent service includes new high torque starter motor. new water pump. updated fuel hoses. new tires. and other misc. items. This 328GTS is complete with leather Ferrari manual pouch. owners manual. stamped service booklet (plus additional service documents). nbsp;service manuals. took kit. targa cover. full sized spare. etc. It runs and drives excellent. and recently completed a 1. 00 mile road trip without issue. I am confident the next owner will very happy with it and enjoy it for years to come. Outside: This 1986 Ferrari has timeless looks that make it destined to be a collectible for years to come. Most Enzo era Ferrari's from the 50's. 60's. and early 70's are well out of reach for typical aficionados. with prices starting at $500k and going into the ten's of millions of dollars. That has made the modern day collectible Ferraris such as 308/328 cars rapidly appreciate as one of the last affordable Ferraris. These cars combine Pininfarina beauty and design with Ferrari soul. and they're still affordable to purchase and drive - although they are rapidly on their way up in value. This particular 328 retains nearly all of it's original paint. having only minor cosmetic touch-ups done. Patina is commensurate with age and miles. and the wear is in all the "right" spots such as the rear of the fender wells and the lower front end. Along with those tiny chips and checks. there is a slight cracking in the paint on the hood (common) and ahead of the left rear marker light. Thankfully nobody decided to have those areas repainted. and instead choose to keep the original state of the car well preserved. There are no dings on the car. and it has no accidents or other damage in it's history. There is no corrosion on the body. and all of the rubber and glass are in fine shape. as are the OEM Ferrari wheels. This is a very presentable 328. and I'm sure you will be pleased with it's aesthetics. Inside: The interior of this car is beautiful and it's in very nice condition throughout. The only non-stock items are an aftermarket stereo. Keith Collins floor mats. and aluminum pedal covers that accent the car nicely. The dash and door panels are in excellent condition. The carpets are clean and neat. although the prancing horses on the mats are showing their age and could use replacing. All features and electronics function properly. including the lighting in the dash. map lights. and even the door puddle lights. The seats are in good condition and appear to have been regularly conditioned. Their color is good and they show only minor fading on the driver bolster and lower leading edge of the seat bottom as shown in the photos. These seats have never been redyed or recovered. and show superbly for being original. The black targa top is in fine condition. fits well. and includes the factory snap cover to protect it while it's behind the seats. As you can see from the photos. the interior of this car is very nice and very clean. Mechanics: As mentioned. this car has been well serviced since new and it includes a great deal of documentation of all the service work done along over the last 28 years. It's most recent major service being performed within the last month with work including belts. tensioners (Hill Engineering). spark plugs. thermostat. oil. air and fuel filters. along with relevant gaskets and seals. Other recent service includes new high torque starter motor. new water pump. updated fuel hoses. new tires. and other misc. items. Going back a bit further to 36k miles. the car had another major done at Ferrari of Washington that included all of the normal major/belts service work plus additional items such as o2 sensors. battery. distributor cap. wires. and more - for a total of $7. 00. Before that it had been serviced by Ferrari at each factory recommended intervals as documented by the stamped maintenance manual. going back to it's first 1. 00 mile service May of 1986. (See photos for documentation) The car currently runs and drives as it should. and I believe it to be "turn key" keeping in mind it's 30 years old of course. As I mentioned. I took the car on a 1k mile road trip last month and it drove great. I wouldn't hesitate to take it on another long trip tomorrow. In closing. I am confident you will be very happy with this 328 GTS.
