1988 Ferrari 328 GTS. Fully documented and same owner for 10+ years. 18,4XX miles. This car is truly in near-showroom condition. Cosmetically beautiful and as far as mechanically -- well a few years ago (and less than 1000 miles ago) I commissioned a $20K upper engine rebuild (some leakage had been noted around thevalve covers) and the engine was pulled and it subsequently underwent replacement of the valve cover gaskets along with installation of new, hardened valves and guides, as well as a new timing belt, water pump, cam seals and gaskets, as well as a new clutch and flywheel while the engine was out and the transmission was accessible -- why not? All with Ferrari factory parts. The car now runs and sounds better than new when I warm it up and take it for an obligatory 5 mile Sunday drive every couple of months.Since the rebuild I recently had the A/C serviced (~$5K at Automotive International, Charlotte, NC) and it now blows ice cold. All receipts during my ownership and many, if not all, from prior to my purchase are included. The Pirellis are still in great shape and the wheels have not a speck of curb rash. It's red (of course) with a black leather interior and everything remains in excellent condition. It has an after-market CD player with an auxiliary jack and all original manuals, tools (none missing, all with ‘Ferrari’ stamping on handles), keys, mats and service records are included. It has been meticulously physician-maintained for the last 10+ years and needs nothing. This piece of automotive road art can be found in northeast Tennessee. If interested, please contact me through eBay (preferable) or by email (I may take a little time to respond, but I can be reached at: jdsryecatcher@aol.com), and please -- no brokers! This is a PRIVATE SALE by the long-term owner (not a car dealer) and although the car is truly amazing, there is no warranty provided and shipping of the car to your location would of course be up to the buyer to arrange, though I would do my best to help out with any details at this end. And by the way, the 'AutoCheck' score (see above?) is a bit of a joke if it suggests that this car is anythingless than a top quality example of a late model 328 GTS. The car is in excellent, collector/museum quality (or daily driver quality if you wish) condition. If you have questions, please send a message and I'll answer as best I can. We can talk more over the phone, though again -- no dealers, please (they call andsound for the world like they're interested in making a purchase and then you find out they just want to you to buy advertising space in their magazine... and 5 minutes of my time is wasted $#@%). Thanks for checking out the car... RDS
