Description of 1984 Ferrari Other

You’ve heard the arguments from your significant other. Them: “No. you can’t buy a sports car. ” You: “Why not?” Them: “Because where are we going to put the when we go somewhere??” You: “In the backseat of our Ferrari!”Ferrari created the 400i series for people who loved the feel and luxury of a Ferrari but who also wanted the practicality of a car that you could actually use. Look closely and you’ll see a trunk that can actually fit suitcases inside along with groceries and even stuff from a trip to Home Depot (not that you will use this car to run mundane errands). We are offering a beautiful 1984 Ferrari 400i with approximately 25. 00 miles on the odometer. Please note that we can't verify the mileage as this is not the original speedometer as it is in miles and the original would've been in kilometers. It is also important to note that this car is a European Model and has never been converted to US Specifications. DO NOT BUY THIS CAR IF YOU CAN'T TITLE IT IN THE STATE WHERE YOU RESIDE. CHECK LOCAL LAWS BEFORE PURCHASING THIS CAR as we will NOT offer refunds. The car currently has a clear title in the State of Kansas. This car may be a 30 year old classic but it runs like a charm. Please keep in mind when reading this description that the car is 30 years old so when we say “incredibly clean” we mean for a car its age. If you are expecting a brand new interior/exterior then you may want to visit your local Ferrari dealer for a new car. With that in mind. you need to see this car to believe how great it looks. As a fellow eBayer put it. “Ferrari 400i's have been long overlooked and are currently the most reasonable way into a classic v12 Ferrari. With the prices of previous 2+2 Ferraris such as the 330 GT and the 365 GTC/4 sky rocketing now is the perfect time to capitalize on this opportunity. ” Well put. This car is a Euro model and has not been converted to US standards. From what we’ve been able to find. it is also the ONLY 1984 Ferrari 400i in “Fly Yellow” that we know of in the United States. Not only are you getting a unique car. but you are getting a car that is rare even by US standards. The car still retains what seems to be its original paint (except for some cosmetic repairs) and looks fantastic. It is shiny with very few blemishes and attracts attention wherever it goes. During the last Ferrari event in the area we had more people stop and take photos of our car than they did many of the other brand new $200-300k+ models. This car is a classic beauty that grabs attention and is a definite conversation starter. The overall facts: Your Ferrari 400i will come with the Repair Manuals. the original Took Kit AND First Aid Kit. There is also a fitted Yellow Ferrari cover that you’ll receive as well. We bought the car after it had been in storage for many years and we spared no expense in bring this Ferrari back to life. It was almost as if the car was a stored time capsule. The wheels were professional refinished and are original to the car. and the air conditioning blows cold air. Yes. a vintage Ferrari with WORKING COLD AIR!!Interior: We’ve seen other 400i’s but this one has the most comfortable interior we’ve seen. Look at those seats! They are as comfortable as they look. They are super cushy that makes driving this car effortless. You will have the fun of a Ferrari with the comfort of a Bentley. The carpet is clean as is the leather interior. The front seats were cleaned and reconditioned but the leather is original to the car. Exterior: The car has extremely clean paint for being 30 years old. We believe the paint is all original to the car as new. but there is no way to be sure without having access to the prior owners. Our mechanic looked at the car and felt it was all original. There was a little work done to the front lower spoiler as it was cracked when we received it. but it has been reconditioned to look like new (that area does have new paint). There are a few stress cracks in the paint which is to be expected from a car from this era. The glass is clear and original to the car as far as we know. The pop-up lights work with no issues. Engine: The engine is a 12 cylinder fuel injected engine with timing chains (NOT BELTS). That should make any Ferrari owner happy as you won’t be changing out belts for maintenance. The car was just serviced and has a new exhaust system and fuel injectors. It has been running strong with no issues. The transmission is a GM automatic that shifts smoothly with no known issues. The underside of the car has been professionally detailed and looks fantastic. The Price: We have seen cars as rare as this go for much more than what we are seeking. The car was purchased with the intent of restoration and much has been done and it drives great. I would encourage any serious bidders to visit us for a test drive.
