This is a normal production, North American Market, (USA) GTS that was completed in June of 1973 but not delivered for unknown reasons to the States until November that same year.

The original completion color was "Rosso Rubino Metallizzato" color code, 106-R-83 which translates to Ruby-Red Metallic. The interior was "BEIGE VM3218" or tan and it was fitted with Daytona style, black seat inserts. Additional options included power windows and air conditioning.

The original owner of this Dino was a Los Angles a Los Angeles resident. He owned and retained it until 1980 at which time it was acquired by Los Angeles based collector Ira Jay Boren. At his time of purchase the car showed 21,200 miles. He kept the car until 1986 when it was purchased by Claremont, California collector, Gene Zettle with 29,000 miles. During his ownership the car was stripped and repainted to the current fly yellow and an all new dark gray and black interior fitted as well as having optional wider Campagnolo light alloy wheels fitted. In 1996, now showing 34,000 miles, the car was sold to a private museum collection in Japan from where it was purchased in January 2013 by our company with 43,163 miles showing on the odometer.

This is a documented and verified "all matching numbers" example without a spec of rust or any signs of accident damage past or present. All services are completely current and up to date and this delightful Dino is ready for all manner of enthusiastic enjoyment.
