This Dino is fresh out of a top notch car collection and has never been offered to the public. Finished in the rare color combination of Fly Yellow over a contrasting black interior, this 246GT is a true collector car. Having been fully restored by Dave Draper at Time Machines Unlimited in 1997, and more recently having had a cosmetic and mechnical refresh, this Dino is in tip top shape. As shown in the pictures, the car is very tidy throughout and is highlighted by the newly redone lower valance around the car. Newer rubber seals, and correct panel gaps makes for a crisply-closing door as well. Inward, the black interior features beige piping around the floor mats, and contrasting beige on the Daytona seats. The seats are in good condition and but do show just a hint of wear. The mouse-hair dash is in good condition including the functioning original instrumentation too. The Dino featured a mid-engine, dual overhead cam, 2.4 liter V6, adorned with triple weber carburetors. As new, the 246GT produced 195 horsepower and is good for a top speed of 146 mph!! At the time of restoration, the complete fuel system was refurbished, the heads were refreshed, and various suspension and drivetrain parts were as well. Recent service work includes new Michelin XWX tires, a complete fluid flush, and filters. The car drives beautifully, shifting through all five gears with ease, and it stops on a dime too. Carving the back roads is a blast this Dino, all while listening to the sweet tune of the triple carbs feeds the engine at your back. The Dino is truly a Ferrari thoroughbred. This Dino is a great example of a well sorted 246GT. This car is truly is an enthusiasts dream.
