Greetings and thank you for looking at my ad. I have decided to sell my 1982 Ferrari Mondial 8 3.0 liter mid engine V8. This is an outstanding car and I truly love it but things have changed and I have decided to downsize things for simplicity. I purchased the car in November / December of 2015. It had 22,000 original miles on it when I bought it. The color looks to be a British racing green which isn't the original color of Rosso Corsa. I actually love the green and had planned on keeping the color when I repainted it. That being said the paint looks okay but it really isn't where I would love to have it at. There is a few spots of rust but nothing major or anything that stands out. This was a running and driving car when I bought it but I decided to do the following maintenance items for my own peace of mind. Immediately after collecting the car I performed a major engine service that included, timing belts, timing belt idler pulley and sealed bearings, new water pump, new valve cover gaskets, new alternator and a/c belts. I rebuilt the fuel injection system with new injectors and rebuilt the Bosh Jetronic diaphragm assembly. The brake booster and master cylinder were rebuilt by White Post Restorations, Brake system completely flushed out, new gas struts for the front deck and engine deck lid, I have replaced the lower 85 amp alternator with a 130 amp replacement. Window regulators were taken out cleaned and rebuilt with new grease. Exhaust/ muffler has been replaced with a new polished stainless steel Superformance muffler. I replaced the aftermarket radio someone had installed with a radio from a Ferrari 360. Wheels were changed out with Ferrari 360 wheels (still have the original wheels as well). I have begun to swap out running lights with LED's as time and money permits. Please ask questions before bidding, This is also listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime if a reasonable offer is made and the car sells locally. Payment in the form of a cashier'scheck will need to clear through the bank before title is released.
