History on the 1990 Ferrari 348GTVehicle Highlights:11,200 MilesImpeccable Service RecordsFlawless Cosmetic ConditionFerrari introduced the 348 in 1989 as a long-awaited successor to the 308/328 series, which has been in production since 1976. A dramatic departure from its predecessor, the 348 took styling cues from the Testarossa, with its side-mounted radiators and strakes, while also having a longitudinally mounted engine with a transverse gearbox. This mid-engine arrangement mimicked the layout of Ferrari’s F1 cars of that time which also happened to... be one of the most winningest teams of that era as well. The 3.4 liter four-cam V-8 made 300hp and propelled the car to 60mph in 5.6 seconds on the way to a top speed of 171mph. This Ferrari 348 has been meticulously maintained since it left the dealership back in 1990, and since then has only put 11,200 miles on the odometer. The air conditioning in the car blows cool air even on the hottest of days and the most recent major service was performed 3 years ago. The vent on the hood of the car was replaced in 2014 as well, and the entire front black lip was resprayed and the engine cover insulation was replaced as well. Accompanying the car is a full leather Ferrari toolset original with the car, as well as an original Ferrari owner’s manual, and service manual. With over 25 years in business, Black Horse Garage’s experienced and knowledgeable staff can help you find the best cars; whatever your budget.
