Call 416 686-8700 World wide shipping. fob Toronto Canada This is your chance to turn back the hands of time. its 1977 ONCE AGAIN First time offered for sale. a fully restored FIBERGLASS euro spec dry sump 308 GTB. This is a late production fiberglass model that was an original survivor with low miles before we started the full nut. bolt and clip restoration. Our goal was to build the best 308 GTB FIBERGLASS in the world without any conditions or cost limitations. The car is true to its as delivered condition in 1977. original RED ON BLACK with black carpets. Factory Heritage document Best in the world? Defintely! BODY This car wore its original paint and interior and was in very nice condition before we commenced the restoration. The car was completely disassembled and taken to bare fiberglass. This cars body and chassis were near perfect and rust free (no bubbles of rust or body filler). We used sikkens top of the line products in the restoration to ensure the quality and longevity of the paint finish. This car was imported to Lybia in 1977 and the exported to Canada in 1978. Factory deep spoiler and 16 inch wheels. I have factory documentation that the front spoiler was a factory option when this car was built ( the new owner will receive the documents) and the wheels are date coded. So for all the chatters out there don’t email and ask to see. you must have faith. No the floors are not polished No the seats are not re-stuffed. original foam The radio was installed in 1978 so period correct I was NOT mistaken the pinin emblem belongs on the LH side on this car (no holes were present on the RH side. INTERIOR The interior was treated to full English hides. proper factory grain vinyl and wilton wool carpets. When restoring the interior no expenses were spared and the seats are perfect. yes perfect! The English hides make all the difference in the world. the grain. texture and thickness are spot on. Not to mention the smell. heavenly! The entire interior has new foam (not the seats) in the correct thickness giving the car the proper era look and feel. The carpets have the proper European binding and new original heel pads were used. even the dead man pedal cover was replaced. An NOS steering wheel greets you every time you enter the car (NOT a reproduction) DRIVETRAIN ENGINE This car has the rare dry sump engine. the best possible combination for a 308. The engine was treated to a full and proper rebuild. even the cam saddles were line honed. We used NOS 81mm pistons with NOS piston rings. Every bearing in the engine has been replaced with original units. Only factory gaskets and seals were used in the rebuild to ensure a drip free engine. The entire assembly was balance and blue printed. All new valves and guides were used as well as new Ferrari valve springs. The cams are the factory hot euro spec versions Aluminum castings were painstakingly cleaned by hand until they were perfect. GEARBOX The gearbox was rebuilt using new syncros and bearings. all bushings and seals were also replaced. Many hours were spent on this unit to ensure proper shifting. A new A/P clutch was installed STEERING AND SUSPESION Every wear and tear part has been replaced. bushings. bearings. tie rods. ball joints etc. etc. This car feels like it has power steering and has a feel like no other 3 series Ferrari BRAKES From the master cylinder to the calipers. every thing has been rebuilt or replaced. Cooling system New radiator. silicone vintage hoses. thermostat. water pump all parts were factory originals (even the thermostat). A/C SYSTEM We wanted the a/c to work properly so we installed a new compressor and new main hoses. The evaporator unit was rebuilt for a perfect leak free seal. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM The entire wiring harness was rebuilt with every terminal being replaced. All connectors were replaced to ensure a perfect connection and a pebble beach level appearance. We used so many nos lights in this car. even the rarest siem tail lamps (good luck finding as set of theses lamps on this planet. This car has been tested and all electrical items work as intended. Summary This cars restoration is so over the top that words cannot describe the end results. This top level restoration was performed by a top level Ferrari restoration facility with 26 years of experience. Many nos parts were used in the restoration to ensure a top level results. Books. tools. jack kit. spare tire and trouble light included. Classiche in progress We have had this car judged at a FCA national event where it received a PLATINUM AWARD (98. 5) 0. 5 point removed (engine compartment too good) 0. 5 point removed (wheel decal not a silk screen) 0. 5 point removed (small paint run on hidden edge) COPPA BELLA AWARD Everything works as it should even the trip odometer. attaining a platinum award is easy but the COPPA BELLA award is the toughest award on the planet. two expert judges spent an hour on every item and option on this car and it’s 100%. If one thing is wrong or not working and you fail COPPA GT AWARD The car is track driven by the owner and must perform like a Ferrari. it runs on 8 cylinders and shifts perfectly.
