Prototype - Built: By Modena Design & Development. El Cajon CA during the early 80's a reproduction of the ultra-desirable Ferrari 250GT Spyder California. The chassis was designed by late Bob Webb. a veteran Indy-car fabricator who worked on Roger Penske cars. This car has Steel-tubing frame and four wheel disc brakes. I was told that the engine has 500+HP - a special high performance motor that has been stroked to a 427cu. Car:Three registered owners (collectors). and has been hidden away since 90's (driven approx. 50 miles in past few years). this was used in my collection and I have never driven more than a few hundred feet- has not been shown in the public for over decade (original condition) has wear. Reportedly. very few exist and this is the number #01 car (I have the original Document from CA DMV issued to Modena Design) - All these factors make the Modena recreations collectible in their own right and unique. if odd part of Ferrari History. Extra:Original style dash (black) with gauges will accompany sale (Scroll below to see actual pictures)Two extra spare wire wheels (with new tires) will accompany saleNew front light covers will accompany sale (New in box)Contact: Via email (Ebay) *Dash & Gauges to accompany sale Engine 1961 Ferrari Modena |
