1992 Ferrari Testarossa 512TR Viva Las Vegas Autos Presents... A Spectacular 1992 Ferrari Testarossa 512TR with 6,624 original miles. As the replacement for Ferrari's Testarossa, the 512 TR was introduced for the 1992 model year as a response to the launch of competitor Sport's cars alike. This early 1990's icon possesses power, handling, and comfortability not normally found in competitor cars of this calibre. With a relentless 422hp V12 engine passing through a 5 Speed Manual Transmission, it is ready to take its place in it's new owners collection. Viva Las Vegas Autos Known History... The Testarossa evolved into the 512TR with subtle exterior changes to improve aerodynamics. This included a single-piece nose with a rounded front grill, and flush mounted lights and ducts. A small kamm tail was also added to the rear. This improved high speed stability and cooling all while lift was reduced. This was augmented by the 512TR's new cast alloy wheels. These wheels have a thinner spoke than the original Testarossa for improved brake cooling. The engine of the 512TR evolved significantly to produce an astounding 428hp. These improvements were achieved through numerous small changes including a strengthened block, a 10:1 compression ratio, newly revised valves, and a new air intake system. This 12 cylinder engine is controlled by a Bosch Motronic 2.7 system. Lastly, the interior of the 512TR was the most obvious evolution from the original Testarossa. This included changes to the center console, providing a more spacious feeling in the cabin, rounded edges on the dash, and some of the guages and instruments wwere relocated within the binnacle. It was also given an updated Momo steering wheel, with a slightly thicker leather covered trim. The seats were redesigned and lowered, once again, increasing the atmosphere of the cabin.
