Description of 1992 Ferrari 348 TS

Please take a moment to learn about this exceptionally well kept 348. Yes it has 66430 miles. I paused when I saw that too. Then I walked around the car. Then I saw the full chain of ownership history kept in a 3 ring binder. THEN I saw the FULL service history on the car. Kept in a 3 ring binder as well I have EVERY service record for this car since the first wrench touched it in 1993. Finally I drove the car and immediately wrote the check. This car drives like a new Ferrari. Truly remarkable.I'll start with the exterior. Please note one of the previous owners had the targa roof panel and the lower valances painted to match the car. This was common as many owners did not like the satin black lower. You'll commonly see this on Testarossa's as well. The front and rear bumpers were freshened 2 years ago. No damage - just fresh paint from rock nicks. The car has never been in an accident and has a clean CARFAX. Paint is exceptional for a car of this vintage. Shines like new (as evidenced in the photos). Overall the exterior is much better than one would expect. All 4 tires have 6 to 7/32'" of tread. All 4 rims are perfect with no scratches or curb rash. You will not be disappointed. The interior has the original leather and also is in exceptional condition and has no tears. The drivers seat shows the leather patina one would expect to see in a 20000 mile Ferrari. It has obviously been conditioned regularly. I just treated all of the hides with Lexol cleaner and conditioner last week. Some of the trim has the typical late 80s-90s "sticky" feel to it. There are services out there who refinish these trim parts. Easy fix. All of the buttons andgaugeswork as they should. WIndows work properly. The A/C is inoperable but the previous owner who I purchased the car from asked that the compressor belt be left off for better engine performance during its major service. I spoke to the shop who just did the full engine-out service in February and they said the system was holding the refrigerant charge when they performed the service and it evacuated properly. No reason itshouldn'twork if you charge the refrigerant and re-install the compressor belt.On the the all-important mechanicals. The car runs as a Ferrari should and is completely up to spec. The clutch was replaced at 60916 miles. Oil has been changed every 2000 miles during the last owners time with the car. Most recently in late February 2015 at 65788 miles the car had a full engine out service which included brake fluid flush coolant flush Tensioner bearings Cam gaskets Cam seals Timing and Alternator belts Fuel filter Spark plugs Temp sensor Thermo switch Coolant temp sensor Cooling hoses New Water pump and finally CV rebuilds and service. The car needs nothing. Bid with confidence. If you are a current Ferrari owner looking for a driver or if you are new to Ferrari and want to dip your toes in the water and not get hurt this car is a safe bet.The original books manuals and tool kit are all present with the car.I do my very best to accurately portray the cars I sell on eBay. Although I've sold relatively few cars on eBay I DO have a 100% positive feedback rating. It is extremely important to me to keep that rating so if you have any questions please call me at (443) 988-8645. I will do my absolute best to respond quickly and get you the information you request. I can also take more pictures of anything you think is missing.
