1969 Fiat 124 Sport Spider AS I have owned this car the last 5 years and it has been my daily driver. Luckily I only work a few miles away and other than trips to the grocery store and a few cruises down the coast I have not put a ton of miles on this car, hile still driving it regularly. It has been surprisingly reliable over that time considering the age of the car. My mechanic (Cornell, eliable Motors, osta Mesa) almost exclusively works on Fiat Spiders and is located less than 2 miles away from me. I have fixed things as they have needed and have had the following work done and have over 7,000$ in receipts : Rebuild 5 speed transmission and new clutch installed less than 2000 miles ago. No grinding of gears and car shifts like a sports car should. New brakes, lternator, attery, ater pump, nbsp;wheel bearings, nd timing belt have about 3000 miles and a little over a year on them Nardi steering wheel Carpet is about 4 years old and still very nice. The original mats are underneath. Top is 4 years old as well. Still very presentable, ut has one small rip at the passenger rear quarter and the rear window is slightly scratched from the convertible frame, hich you can see in the pictures. Nice top boot in very presentable condition. Highly desirable Cromodora CD3 wheels with rare Fiat caps. Tires have about 9,000 miles on them. Front seats are ripped, nd need to be redone. The rear seats are presentable but do have some flaws, o I would do them too. The rest of the interior is nice but has its flaws as well. It has a dash cap that looks nice from afar but is starting to bubble up and should be re-glued or replaced at some point. Custom wood veneer over the original dash (was cracked when I got it). Comes with many other extra parts (carb, are rear light, ir cleaner snorkel, anuals, tc) . The paint is very nice from a few feet away but it's a 20+ year old paint job and has its share of dents and dings which you can see in the pictures. The paint is a darker shade of red than the original which you can still see in the trunk and under the hood. There's a small rust bubble on the rear drivers side panel but the car is very clean and not hiding the usual fiat rust underneath that many have. I've heard that every Fiat has rust but this one has obviously been taken care of in the past and has very solid floor pans and arches. Turn signals do not work and clock in dash does not work (very common) This Fiat would make an amazing car for a concourse restore, r a perfect car to drive and enjoy, atina and all, nd fix the problems as they arise ( which is what I have done the last 5 years). This is a very nice vintage car that has served me well and been my "baby" the last 5 years, ut please do not bid if you do not understand that this is a 47 year old car that needs work and attention to keep on the road. It demands the attention any beautiful lady does. Happy to help with shipping if needed. 500$ deposit due in 24 hours of auctions end.
