Description of 1973 Fiat 850 Sport Spider

Up for auction is my 1973 Fiat 850 Sport Spider. I have owned the car since 2010, t was last fully restored in 1982/83. It comes with a folder of receipts from the previous owner and my ownership. I have replaced the tires, park plugs, lug wires, istributor cap, otor, oolant, oolant cap, oolant reservoir, lectric fuel pump, uel filter, ll fuel lines, elts, il changed/centrifugal filter cleaned, nd changed the brake fluid. Comes with a box of spares and items for a future restoration to include new door seals and extra chrome bumpers. Currently has seats from an MG installed but included with the car are a set of original seats in color tan.
The car runs, rives and is mechanically sound. Was registered and inspected until last fall when I let it lapse for the winter. This car has no structural rust or frame rust or body rust, hich is rare since most of these vehicles were lost to frame corrosion. Supposedly there are less than 200 left in operation. The Fiat has always been stored indoors. The interior is a combo of black and tan and is actually very nice for the year. The original dash is crack free and the applique decals were at some point replaced with veneer stained wood. The doors close and lock as they should.
Issues: The exterior color black is not the original color; it was lime green. The car has scratches and dings expected of a 43 year old car.The exterior finish is tired. Somewhere in a previous life the front fenders were repaired (welds used to attach to the frame) and the fenders were resprayed poorly- does not show well in the pictures. The Hartz stay fast cloth black top is faded and has a two inch tear on the drivers side behind the window (came to me that way) The rear plastic window is in good shape with no damage. The windshield has some marks from wiper operation on the passenger side.
The car hunts at idle and sometimes dies without some choke engaged.
The vehicle is not currently registered, nspected or insured.
All that aside it is a fun little car and always gets lots of attention, miles and questions when I have it out. It's cheap fun and my sons are sorry to see it go. Auctions is no reserve, oes to the highest bidder.
