Description of 1970 Fiat Other Spider |
Up for sale is my 1970 FIAT 124 Sport finished in a gorgeous "Giallo Positano" exterior over Black interior. First of all this is NOT your typical FIAT listed for sale on Ebay which is typically a rust bucket which has been cannibalized and rebuilt from various donor vehicles. This vehicle is 100% original in every way. I purchased this from the original owner located in Washington State. I purchased the car sight on seen and had it shipped to NJ where I began the restoration process. I have documentation of all mechanical and body work performed as well as the original window sticker of the vehicle. This vehicle has been completely refurbished from a mechanical stand point by Tony Covino at Autobahn Imports in Hackensack. NJ. Body work performed at Chapel Auto Body in Newark. NJ. Both are experienced in the restoration process of these vehicles. This is my third FIAT Spider which I have lovingly and CORRECTLY restored. If you are looking for a unique Italian Roadster. and not your typical late 70's to 80's FIAT spider this is the one! These model years are rare and most desirable given their pre regulation chrome bumpers and cleaner lines. The vehicle needs minimal attention to make it a show car. All of the heavy lifting has been performed and all that it will need is some MINIMAL attention to the interior which I will discuss with any interested parties. Please DO your research before contacting me so that we may have a meaningful discussion as I am extremely well versed in these vehicles and what it costs to resurrect them. This is not an appropriate vehicle for your son or daughter's first car. nor is it a vehicle that will do well being kept outdoors. The only reason I am sadly selling this gorgeous car is because I have located a FIAT Dino which I will need to free up my garage for. No tire kickers and no low ball offers as I am not desperate to sell. KBB lists this vehicle as Average retail $9. 00 and High Retail of $18. 00. Rule of thumb when restoring ANY vehicle. imagine a dollar value and multiply it by two as a fair jumping off point. In closing please be respectful of my time as I will be of yours when scheduling a viewing of the vehicle. Thank you for your interest. |
