1960 FIAT 500 4956 MILES. $10,500 The Fiat 500 "D" Nuova was produced between 1960 and 1965. Replaced the original Nuova in 1960 with an uprated engine, 499 c.c. instead of 479c.c., and 17 HP instead of 13 HP. As the Nuova, the "D" Nuova had suicide doors. This particular unit is a 1960 "D" Nuova, V.I.N. 121350, engine 147821, one of the few and one of the last U.S. market spec cars. It is a one owner Kentucky car with only 4956 miles. Delivered in white, with a two tone green / cream vinyl interior. It was a gift to a salesman, "salesman of the year" in 1960, of the Merit / Mayfield Clothing Co., importers of fine italian suits. Arrived from Italy by ocean freighter with a shipment of italian suits and fabrics. Sometimes a gift does not suit the recipient, tall man / small car, so it was driven sparingly, basically errands around the neighborhood. The longest trip was to The Hermitage in Nashville, until it was parked in abarnin 1964, hence the low miles. The engine turns but i did not attempt to start it. Original fuel tank rusted out, but i have a good refurbished one. All the lights work, brakes are not seized. The paint is original with a few dings. Has some oxidation, but looks good when polished. The body is totally rust free, a huge statement for a Fiat. The interior is the original in excellent shape, no rips or tears, just needs to be cleaned. The floor rubber mat has some cracks. Steering wheel, instruments and vinyl roof are in excellent shape. Original rear window sticker "In rodaggio" still in place. Has four new tires, originals available, and the original battery. Has all the books, owners manual, instruction and service station book, jack, original keys, bill of sale and a clear title. A great oportunity to own a time warp Fiat 500. I SELL WORLDWIDE.
