Description of 1984 Fiat 124 Spider Pininfarina Azzurra

This 1984 Pininfarina Azzura is in mint shape for its age. The body is in nice shape and is rust free. The paint is mint (perhaps a few normal scratches and scuffs). The interior is in mint shape, except for a couple of small cracks on the dash. Front and rear seats look like new. Soft top is mint. Mechanically sound. Starts runs and drives well. The 5-speed transmission shifts well.Rear bumper has a few rust spots.A lot of money has been spent on it since I bought it 5 years ago. Wheels and tires are in great shape. Good brakes/suspension. New battery. Electrical parts work (lights, turn signals, wiper, blower). Clear NJ Title.
Havingsaid all that, this is a 34 year old Italiancar, and it is not perfect. The car is sold AS IS WHERE IS. You are encouraged to inspect it.
A little history and background:The Fiat 124 Sport Spider is a monocoque, front-engine, rear drive 2+2 convertible sports car manufactured by Fiat Automobiles for model years 1966-1980. Designed and manufactured by Italian carrozzeria Pininfarina, the 124 Spider debuted at the November 1966 Turin Auto Show. Fiat later marketed the car as the 2000 Spider (1979-1982), and Pininfarina marketed the car at the end of its production as the Pininfarina Spider Azzura (1983-1985).
