Videos and Pictures Test Drive Accessories More picturesTest drive video:https://youtu.be/K_TLbjALMm0 Accessories demonstration:https://youtu.be/qsAIS-1UlL8 For sale is an amazing, all original, one owner 78Fiat X1/9 targa convertible. In 1978 the owner bought it new in California and drove itregularly up until 2003, frequently making trips backand forth from California to Nevada. This car has been parked and stored away in a garagefrom 2003 up until this year 2018 making it a real barnfind (garage car in nearly perfect original condition). According to the orginal owner the Fiat has 25,000miles on the current engine and 156,000 on the body,it had been well maintained by the same local fiatmechanic for 25 years. (78-03) Orginal paint and a numbered signature car, #1358adding to its rare appeal. A Ferrari experience - If you don't already know about the Fiat X1/9 it is animpressive little sports car with high standards inroad handling performance, as well as 4 wheel diskbrakes and a mid engine design usually only found invery high end exotic cars. In the FIat X1/9 you will find yourself greatly enjoyingthe maneuverability and parking opportunities thatthis small sports car has to offer, and who needsair-conditioning when you have a lightweighteasy to remove targa top that stores in the trunkanytime anywhere. Rust Free - The only rust I can find on this car is around the windshieldspray nossle, which is seemingly an issue that isrelated to the temperature and pressure in the washerfluid bottle that pushes water out during its lifetime. As you can see in the pictures this car is amazingly rustfree showing none of the typical rust under the doorsor any leaves clogging up drains, it seems as thoughit has never seen a tree. The pictures really tell the story of the condition,to find a vintage car like this so untouched is veryrare, even all of the plastic covers and trim placesare in place and intact. Engine starts and runs excellent. Transmission and clutch shift and function perfectly. This is a running-driving project, unlike most projectcars this won't cost you alot to fix up, fix it up as yougo and parts are cheap. When talking about bodyand paint work this classic is very small and hasmuch less costly surface area to paint comparedto other classic cars and will also save you time incleaning and maintenance. Apon receiving this vehicle the carburetor wascleaned, the battery was replaced, the fuel drainedand replaced, the oil changed and some generalcleaning and maintenance has been performed. It is inotherwise untouched condition from 2003 and willneed more work to be a reliable daily driver. An Italian sports car experience without all the costs. This classic Fiat is also easy to work on, it's simple likea go kart, especially compared to today's autos. It comes with new old stock spare parts includingclutch cylinder, oil pan gasket, 2 distributor caps,1 set of points, timing belt, oil filter, 2 hoses andthe workshop manual. All the tires are in goodcondition near new, howeverthey are pre 2003and might need replacement. Don't miss out on this incredible classic Italianconvertible sports car. Included are 2 sets of keys and original owners manual. Also included is the original lucky dollar and changefound in the ash tray. Buyer is responsible for smog. If shipping the vehicle buyer is responsible for all cost and arrangements. |
