Description of 1978 Fiat 124 Spider

For sale is a gorgeous Pininfarina designed 1978 Fiat 124 Spider.
I am the third owner of this rust free (90%) Italian classic, and it spent much of its life sitting on a lift in Manhattan. The odometer reads just under 28,000 miles, and the condition of the seats, carpet, and pedals will support that.
Car was Ziebart rust proofed when new, so rockers, trunk, door jambs, frame, and 90% of the body are completely solid.
Starts right up and runs very well. 5 speed manual transmission shifts like it should.
Recent maintenance includes:
-new Gates timing belt
-new master cylinder and brake booster, along with rubber hoses as needed
-Pertronix electronic ignition and new coil
-electronic fuel pump-new fuel tank
-new convertible top
-new tires and rims; the ORIGINAL rims and Pirelli tires are included
Of course, it's a 40 year old car, so it could use a few things if you want it to be show quality. It would benefit from a good buffing, and maybe a respray of the left fender; there's some old body work there that doesn't look great. I prefer the sound of the engine, anyway, but I will be throwing in a new radio and set of speakers when I get a chance.
As is, you can drive it anywhere, and if you wanted it to be perfect, you wouldn't have to do much.
