Description of 1966 Fiat 500 |
I am listing my 1966 Fiat Gamine 2dr 500 convertible with a manual transmission. The car is red with a tan leather interior. It is offered as-is and is not covered by a warranty. It is located in Los Angeles if you wish to view it. I will point out that there are a couple small paint drips. a paint chip below the mirror (see picture) and a slight buckling in the glove compartment door. which are all easily repaired. The car originally had a soft top. but when I purchased it the top was completely worn and I did not keep it. Overall the car shows great. It invites attention wherever it goes. This pristine example invites attention wherever it goes. No one knows exactly how many Gamines were built. but the best estimates are around 300. There are very few of these unique vehicles left in existence. especially in this kind of condition. Within the last half decade. the Gamine has received a full nut-and-bolt restoration bringing it to a condition deserving of its rarity and Vignale heritage. Vignale designed and built bodies for Ferrari and Maserati among others. The Gamine was Alfredo Vignale's personal project that he produced in limited numbers by Vignale's own manufacturing plant under the name Carozzeria Vignale. 1966 Fiat Gamine Coachwork by: Carrozzeria Vignale Chassis No. 110F1820976 Engine No. 110F0001928647 Air-Cooled Two-Cylinder Engine. 4-Speed Manual Transmission. 4-Wheel Hydraulic Drum Brakes.
