2 door convertible - Less than 1200 made worldwide

1985.5 Pininfarina Spider Azzurra...a rare beauty. only 1200 were made and less than 200 are in the US. We are the 3rd owners of this wonderful car. We have ALL service records from 2001 on as well as clean title and CarFax.
Unique elements to the 1985.5:
• Bigger Brakes.. Larger front discs, calipers and pads.
• "Momo" made 3 spoke padded leather steering wheel.
• Door illuminating lights
• dead pedal/foot brace on far left side
• Bigger radiator with radiator cap moved to overflow tank.. no longer on radiator itself.
• Spare change rack on dash (a quick "tell" when looking to see if it's an 85.5 model)
• Speedometer is 120MPH
• 14" (8 spoke) cast Wheels. (Near impossible to find BTW)
• 120 MPH speedometer
• "Sail" trunk emblem
• Power Windows
The exterior of the car was refurbished 15 years ago with rust removal and new paint. Some minor rust has reappeared, but it small. The rear vinyl window is unfortunately cut, but the car has been garage stored. The interior needs a bit of love as we have realized that we don't have the time to dedicate to refurbishing the vehicle. Seats need new upholstery and the dash is cracked. Door panels should be repaired.
The car runs VERY WELL. Power comes from a 2.0-liter DOHC inline-four paired with a replacement five-speed manual transmission. Original equipment consists of rack-and-pinion steering, 14″ eight-spoke wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, a Momo three-spoke steering wheel, an aftermarket CD stereo with amp and speakers. The car has NEW tires and brakes. Upgraded Ansa exhaust as well as new shocks and springs.
The electrical system also needs a bit of love as the horn is not functional and turn signals are fickle.
This car is fun to drive and turns heads wherever she goes. With a little love, this beauty will be a show stopper.
