Description of 1987 Fiat Other X-1/9

This is a recent barn find that I bought from an estate. Everything is working with the exception of the air-conditioner. There is a little bit of rust that can very easily be repaired. The odometer shows 15. 00 miles but the car probably has about 50 to 75. 00 miles on it. I don't know too much about the history of this vehicle except that it was bought new in 1987 by the person whose estate I bought it from. I am the second owner. From what I've been told the car sat under a cover for the five years prior to my buying it about a year ago. As mentioned. everything works. the car starts right up and runs well. The brake system probably should be rebuilt. I suspect that the master cylinder and wheel cylinders could use new gaskets. This car is (unlike the earlier models)fuel injected. I have replaced the fuel pump. There is no radio. but the previous owner installed speakers and an equalizer (I don't know if they work). This is a great. fun car. I bought it from the estate with the intentions of using it as a fun summer car. but I don't seem to have the time for it. Over the last year I've only put about 100 miles on it. The car needs a little work and a little tender loving care. As mentioned there is a little rust. but nothing that cannot be easily repaired. and the brake cylinders probably could use an overhaul. but otherwise this is a nice. fun car. Considering it's age. it is in good condition.
