Description of 1960 Fiat Other 850 Abarth Berlina Replica |
Very Nicely built Fiat 600 with many Abarth Modifications. Car was built in the late 90's in California and equipped with front disc brakes Roll Cage Fuel Cell Period Nardi Steering Wheel Chromadora Wheels (13") Front Radiator and Fascia Abarth Grill and Badging along with a proper Abarth Berlina Paint Scheme. The drivetrain is a standard later period 850cc motor and gearbox. The car operates and drives properly starts easily and has been in my family for over 12 years. The car is a solid runner/driver and shows well in events however it is an older restoration and has a few bumps dings etcetera. The car has suicide doors and a few race pieces (Harness Cut-off Switch Fire Extinguisher) and could be an easy conversion to a race car. This vehicle is an interpretation of an Abarth style vehicle not an Abarth. The body is solid however there are a few areas I suspect where filler was used and maybe a panel replaced however in total it is a very nice recreation with a lot of expensive parts. One could complete a racing version or drive as is in Fiat meetings concours events and have a respectable car. The inside is minimalistic with what I believe is 850 gauges and switches for turn signals. The ignition switch is simply a switch there are no keys with this car. Please feel free to contact myself with questions the car is in Michigan. The vehicle is available to inspect please come to inspect any details. The car is sold "as is" where is I would expect payment within 7 days of the acceptance of the auction. I will accept a cashier's check or cash. Video can be seen:http://youtu.be/5dCry0ekac4 |
