Description of 19940000 Ford Taurus

1994 Ford Taurus SHO (MTX - manual transmission) with 53,9XX miles
These cars are getting harder and harder to find, nd I have yet to find another MTX with less miles in this good of condition. This car is fully stock and has never been tampered with mechanically or cosmetically. All features work, ncluding ice cold air conditioning. This car has never seen snow, nd has barely seen rain - it is stored 7 months out of the year, nd driven minimally in the summer months (maybe 500 miles per year for the past 5 years).
The car runs and drives like a brand new car, s it still has under 54K miles. No issues with shifting. The car sounds great also, ith its stock exhaust.
The paint still shines like new, nd all seating surfaces are completely in tact (the back seat looks as if no one has even sat on it).
You will not find another MTX SHO in this area in this condition - it is truly a collector's item. Last year, t won the 1990-1999 division at the All-Ford show held in Syracuse, Y (will include the plaque with the car). The price is high, ut the car is worth it. Any reasonable offers will be considered. We are only selling to prepare for a move to a new house.Interested buyers are encouraged to see the car in person before purchasing. As with any 20+ year old car, here are very small blemishes from driving.
Feel free to email with questions or for more pictures. The car is also for sale locally and I reserve the right to pull this ad if the car sells prior to the ad ending. Thank you!
UPDATE: The car had a few quarter size drops of oil beneath it after the first month out of storage. We took it to the mechanic to be checked this week, nd he said that the shop who performed the oil change last year did not install the plug correctly, nd had to oil filter tightened too much. He corrected both, nd we're performing a full synthetic (AMSoil) change with new filter to be safe. The car has had AMSoil for the past 5 years, t least.
The mechanic said that the undercarriage of the car is in excellent condition, nd that there are no other visible problems or concerns. I have pictures if you would like to see. No rust or rot. Thank you!
