Description of 1992 Ford Mustang

Up for sale is my Supercharged 1992 Ford Mustang LX Foxbody. I am selling this car because I have more cars than I need. I purchased this car from a retired detective about a year ago. He was the second owner and purchased the car from the original owner who was also almost retired. This car has only been in the hands of 2 owners who barely drove it and myself. It has only been driven on weekends mostly going to car gatherings and cruises. Odometer showing 49K miles on it and runs like a charm. It’s very reliable and mechanically is 100%. I have used it only to drive to my office and take to car gatherings with my kids. Car is White with Black interior and has a custom Alpine sound system with Bluetooth wireless phone and music (you can stream music off the internet or from your smart phone library WITHOUT hooking up your phone to the usb.

This is a California Car with Absolutely no rust and No Accidents. This car has a lot of upgrades that were done only by world famous Galpin Motorsports (GAS-the performance devision of Galpin Ford)

Here’s what has been done to the car:

Paint: Galpin Motorsports painted the car a custom white with Black one piece stripe design on the hood. They also painted the top part of the rear spoiler black. This makes the car really stand out without being ridiculously different. The side molding are all brand new from LMS and also white…

Galpin Motorsport also Supercharged this car with a Vortech S trim supercharger that was professionally installed and tuned for 6 Psi (safe tune)

Interior- Interior is in excellent shape. All black with black dash. Dash is in amazing shape along with everything else. Interior is all original with the exception of the Blue Tooth system and sound system. (I have stock radio and speakers that will go with the car). There’s a tear on the passenger door panel by where it touches the side of the dash when the door is closed. It’s only visible when the passenger door is open. The original dash on this car looks Amazing. It is 23 years old and looks brand new.

Alarm: Car has Viper Alarm System…

Engine: Galpin Motorsports inspected the bottom end of the car and said that the engine was in great shape and did not need any modifications to support the supercharger at the current boost levels. Complete Vortech S trim kit. Car is currently pullied at a very conservative 6psi of boost and can be easily taken up to 8psi. Because this car has been adult owner and never raced, t has stayed at 6psi…

Transmission: AOD, one through completely by Galpin Motorsports and everything that needed updating was done. They replaced any necessary parts and the car shifts very very smoothly. Transmission is in excellent condition.

Rear: 3:73 Gears and also differential gone through by Galpin Motorsports. Drives great on the freeway and rpm sits at around 2100 rpm at approximately 70mph.

Exhaust: Bassani exhaust with large tailpipes (sounds awesome). Currently no cats, ut stock cats come with the car.

Wheels and Tires: Real Weld Draglite wheels with Mickey Thompson Street Rod Radial Tires

($900 tires). These tires are absolutely gorgeous and hard to come by in the right sizes. I paid almost $1000 just for the tires alone and they have approximately 200 miles on them. The front tires are 6 inches and the rears are 10 (Mickey Thompson sizes their tires by inches) These are NOT slicks. They are the new Mickey Thompson Street Tires…Brand New…The car handles very well even with the skinnier tires in the front.

Galpin Motorsports went through the entire car ( Engine, ransmission, ear End, uspension, ushings, tc, tc) to make sure everything is in top condition. They changed everything that needed changing. This car is in AMAZING shape. The body is completely straight and all panels are original and have VIN tags.

Bottom of Car: Very Very clean…

Accidents and Rust: Zero. No accidents and zero rust

Tint: Has rear and complete window tint (Not Limo).

Headlights: Crystal Clear Headlights From American Muscle.

Tail Lights: Has new looking original taillights.

Paint: White with black accents

Sound:

Custom Alpine sound system with Bluetooth wireless phone and music (you can stream music off the internet or from your smart phone library WITHOUT hooking up your phone to the USB.

Car sounds awesome and I have had no problems with it. Brakes are also in excellent condition. This would make a perfect daily driver or weekend toy. I have used it for both over the past 9 months or so. I absolutely love turning the music up and cruising in this car.

A/C and Heater: In excellent shape…

Car NEVER overheats, ven in 100 degree weather sitting in traffic with the A/C on. Car gets a lot of attention everywhere I gobecauseof the shape it's. It'strulya survivor.

Problems:

-There’s a tear on the passenger door panel by where it touches the side of the dash when the door is closed. It’s only visible when the passenger door is open. Driver side seat has a small line on the outside leather part. Horn doesn't work.

Other than that there are no issues. I traced the car back through the 2 owners before me and they were both older gentlemen that used the car for enjoyment. The mods on the car only have about 7K miles on them. If you want to see the car in person I can arrange it, ut I will need a deposit before anyone can drive it. Like I said, lease go see other fox bodies before you come see this one, o you can get an idea of what great original shape this car is in. Car also comes with Original Stereo and speakers if new owner wants it for the future.
