Description of 1971 Ford Galaxie |
I started this car about 8 years ago just to see if it would start an it did very easy. Ihave never driven this car myself, just started it once when I moved it into storage. Please beware it does/will need some work before putting it back on the road. This car has been sitting in Phoenix Az sinceearly 1980 an it has not been on the road since. Overall very clean for a car sitting for 35 years with low mileage. As far as I know the car has never been wrecked. This carwas a one owner car before it wasgiven to me after the owners death years ago. Original hub caps are in the trunk as well as the Ford letters for the trunk. You can see in my pictures they are missing and/or not on the car. Perfect project/restore car for anyone who likes 351 FordMotors. AZ does not require sales tax on our private sells. This car has an "A" Title from AZ DMV. Little to no rust. The leather on the seats are in good overall condition, owever, he cloth will need to be replaced. (please see pictures) The dash has one split. (please see pictures) I'm happy to send more pictures out upon request. Please ask any questions should you have anyconcernswith this car. Local pick up only. I live on a very wide streetwith easy access for any transport trailer, arge or small. Been told by a eBay member that thismotor in this car is a 351 Windsor motor and not a 351 Cleveland motor. The valve covers on this motor has a 6 bolt pattern and the Clevelandvalve covers has a8 bolt pattern. Regardless, his car I'm selling has a nice 351 motor in it. So in my description I've removed that it's a Cleveland motor and just leaving it as the identification tag shows it as, hich is a V8 351 motor. Hope this information helps. |
