Description of 1970 Ford Other Grabber |
1970 Ford Maverick Grabber. The car has recently went through an inline 6 cylinder to V8 engine/driveline swap and has approximately 500 miles since done. The swap was done very clean using ALL the necessary parts needed for it to be done correctly. I also changed over from 4 lug drum/drum brakes to 5 lug disc/drum brakes- non power. Engine is from a 1968 Ford Mustang 289ci (stock) but with NEW Hedman headers, ith edelbrock 4 barrel intake manifold and carburetor. New timing chain and gear set. Transmission is from a 1982 Ford Mustang V8 4 speed toploader SROD with NEW fork, lutch, ressure plate, ilot and throw out bearings and ARP bolts. Rear is from a 1977 Ford Maverick V8 8" 28 spline and has been completely rebuilt with NEW Ford Traction-Lok Posi unit, ll new bearings & seal with 3:55 gears. This is a very clean car that is easy and fun to drive and gets a lot of attention. The paint is very good but does have nicks and has scrapes along right side and is not perfect, t isn't a show car.Exterior chrome and bright work all look great on this car. The interior is very clean also. Only has one small tear in the rear of the headliner. Everything inside and out works as it should. Brand new Kenwood CD player stereo & rear deck speakers. Autometer Pro Comp II memory tach and autometer sport comp mechanical gauges installed cleanly. New carpet (in the box) is included with the car and hasn't been installed yet. A lot of new parts have been installed to make it a reliable daily driver that include: Transmission clutch fork, lutch disc, ressure plate, hrow out and pilot bearing Engine and transmission mounts 3 row aluminum radiator with electric fan, pper and lower hoses and all heater hoses Water pump and thermostat Timing chain and sprocket Engine oil pan gasket Edelbrock Black Chrome valve covers, ew gaskets & matching air cleaner Starter Electronic distributor, gnition coil, park plugs, park plug cables & dividers Clutch equalizer (Z-bar) pivot bushings Grant GT Sport steering wheel and matching shifter handle Headlight switch Alternator Battery and all battery cables Brand New Black Torq Thrust style wheels with locking lug nuts Brand New P225/60R15 tires Ford Traction Lok posi unit Master cylinder Brand New 2 1/2" full length exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and black 3 1/2" exhaust tips Traction Master rear traction bars . *The tach shown in the pictures is NOT the tach that the car will be sold with, nstead I will install an Autometer Pro Comp II memory tach in it's place, eason being the one in the car now has sentimental value to me**Also NOT included in the sale of the vehicle is BOTH the GPS unit as well as the Sirius Satellite Radio receiver and dock mounted to the windshield.* Non AC, S carBut included in the sale is all the power steering linkage that I have acquired to do the conversion. What I have is all the linkage parts, ncluding valve and cylinder (used parts). Everything that goes underneath the car with p/s hoses. I do not have the pump or pump mounting bracket.Car cover.
