Description of 1929 Ford Model A |
Before I describe this car please realize I am very biase towards it. The only reason I am selling it is because we are buying a lot of land behind our house and I am selling off all my cars to use the money for the land. I have completely enjoyed owning and would hope the same for the new owner. If you dont like attention then this is NOT the car for you. Everywhere i have taken it or driven it to it gets tons of attention and every other person takes a picture of it even going down the road I have had people almost run into to me taking pictures. It is on a clear Arkansas title and is titled as a 1929 modelA NOT a street rod or kit car 1929 Ford Model A Tudor sedan. It has been chopped and channeled 5 inches. The grill is from a 1935 and has been sectioned and laid back. It is inits original steel body that has a custom roof fabricated into the body. This car was extremely well done and obviuosly had great care while being built. It was built by Billy and Ricky Couch in Kansas City with a lot of work also done by Tallents in Kansas City. I bought the car about 1 year ago and it only had 435 miles on it at that time since being built. It has 944 miles now. The paint on this car is absolutely stunning! The body work has to be meticulous on a black car and this one is. The fit and finish on this car is as good as it gets. The doors fit and function very well. A lot of people unfamilar with original steel bodies question why the doors dont shut flush. They were not designed that way. If you find a flush door on a 1929 its an aftermarket body or fiberglass. The interior is black leather with red stitching. The door panels and side panels are black/red velor as well as the headliner. As you can see in the pictures the car has a movie prop 1929 Tommy gun (looks real) mounted on a gun rack in rear of cab. This is a very cool accessory with the car and is a real hit at car shows. BTW every car showI have entered this car in it has either won best of show or placed in the top 5. The car has a 355 SBC with an Edlebrock programmable port fuel injection system. This is a great system and makes the car very repsonsive. This system cost about $8,000 to install. The car comes with the following billet mirrors, illet and polished fuel pedal and brake pedal, 50 turbo transmission, okar shifter, intage air system (that will freeze you out!), illet and polished steering wheel, ilt steering, attery shutoff switch, hrome electric fan (never goes over 220 no matter what), iddler 18 inch front/20 inch rear wheels, ake pipes with header caps,4 wheel disc brakes, olsihed injector hat, econdary driving lights, aser cut art in frame(revolver), luetooth stereo, ots of chrome on engine compartment.I have bought a lot of cars in my life and was dissapointed after seeing it compared to the pictures but i can tell you with all sincerity that the pictures dont do this car justice. I hope I have given you a thorough description on this car if not please feel free to call me at 479-841-6718 and I will do my best to answer your questions. Good luck! |
