This is a 1956 Ford Thunderbird, lack with black & white interior. 302 motor with 3 speed automatic, delbrock 4 barrel, ild cam and headers. Strong motor, uns very well. Removable hardtop, o soft top. Interior is all new, eats, arpet, oor panels, ash pad, eadliner & tonneau cover. Just replaced all brake shoes, ylinders, ines, ardware. Painted Crager SS wheels, ires like new. Have fender skirts.
I just bought this car a year ago and have no history on it except it was bought new in South Carolina and that's where I got it. No rust anywhere. Almost nothing under the hood appears to be original so I think the best use for this car is as a daily driver as I have been using it. On the other hand, f you put in the correct motor & transmission, he car would be all original & presumably worth more. I have had no time to look at the reasons, ut the speedometer & tach don't work. Also, can see some small bubbles under the paint. There are some scratches on the rear center bumper under the spare tire, lthough all other chrome is very good or new. It is very reliable and really fun to drive, lthough everyone wants to look at it so leave extra time wherever you might go.
In fact come drive it for yourself, t is a must see and drive!! You will not find another '56 in this condition for the price I am asking!!
