Description of 1959 Ford Galaxie Retractable Hardtop |
My wife and I have decided that is is time for us to slow down and get rid of some of our toys. This car is one of those toys and though it will hard to part with it after 18 years of driving retractables . Front disc brake conversion which can be switched back to original, lectronic ignition for easier starting. new four row radiator. Yon can drive in any parade and not have to worry about overheating.rear air shock on back, lectric fuel pump as an assist to regular pump. All of these add ons can be removed and returned to original. Wayne Rollins, ho is probably considere4d to be among the best has regularly serviced the top operation of this car and today it works flawlessly. This car is a head turner at any car show and I have the trophies to prove it.We have shown our car at many of the International Ford Retractable Club annual convention all over the USA. We put clear plastic seat covers on to protect the seat covers. The tires are 800 X 14 wide whitewalls and though they look like new they are getting some age on them and if you are going to take this car on long trips you might want to consider new tires. I would encourage you to either personally inspect and look at this car or have someone do it for you The car is located in NE Kansas. My phone number is 785.562.8788. I am more than happy to provide more pics or answer any questions. Thanks for looking and Good Luck bidding.
