Description of 1956 Ford Thunderbird

1956 Thunderbird modified in California in the mid 1960's. Modifications include a 427 Ford top oiler motor and a B&M Stick hydro drag transmission. B&M stick-hydro is modified Olds hydromatic 4 speed transmission. I got the car about 20 years ago, ame with California black plate. The previous owner had the car painted around 1990. Car is originally a black car. Also, uring the original modification the factory X member had been removed. I have added a disk brake kit to the front wheels and a rear stabilizer bar.Engine rebuilt with lower compression pistons and had hardened valve seats installed. The transmission has been renewed and shifts crisply. There is a revup similar to today's modified torque converters . Ford 9 inch rear end. Convertable top frame is after market, does not fold behind seat as original would have. No hard top. Disk brake set up needs proportioning valve. Bucket seats are from early Mustang. Radio is aftermarket not working. I have clear Ohio title in hand.
