Description of 1970 Ford Mustang |
Here is a 1970 Mustang Mach 1 that was frame up restored starting in 2012 and finishing it in early 2013. I have a folder full of receipts from the build and some pics of the build as well. This is a true Mach 1 by the Vin# which is 0F05H137803. This car came with a 351 from factory. It has a 351 in it now but I don't know if it's the original numbers matching engine. It has the Shaker Hood. This car was completely taken apart and painted right. Most everything from front to back looks to be new from looking thru the receipts. It has a 4 speed transmission that shifts good and the clutch feels good. There are way too many new parts to list but here are a few things that I see from the receipts that were done: The 351 engine was rebuilt A Holley 850 Double Pump Carb. was put on New Disc Brakes were put on front and New Booster New Power Steering Box Floor Pans were replaced with new New front and rear bumpers New Deck Lid New Magnum 500 Wheels and New Tires New Radiator and Gas Tank New Seat CoversNew CarpetNew Headliner And On And On!!!! It sounds awesome and looks great. It's not a perfect car but a good car that had alot of money spent on building it. 1970 was a very popular year model for these cars. This car looks to have been restored in Kentucky and then went to Alabama before we got it here in Georgia. The mileage I am not sure about. Car sounds good and has plenty of power. Sharp Mustang that is fun to drive!! This car is also For Sale locally and on other sites so auction could end early. It is being sold AS IS with no warranty given or implied in anyway. Pre Sale inspections are always welcomed and encouraged so you will know exactly what you are bidding on but must be done BEFORE END OF AUCTION!! If you bid and meet reserve and are high bidder at end of auction then you have bought it. Please understand this. This car was registered in Alabama by previous owner and only has an Alabama registration as Alabama will not issue a title on any car older than 1975. You will be able to get a title in your state with the paperwork I give you so don't worry about this. Any questions please ask. Thanks for looking |
