THIS TRUCK IS A 1968 FORD F100 SWB PICK-UP TRUCK. THE ONLY REASON I'M SELLING IT IS BECAUSE I'M GETTING A NEWER F150 ECOBOOST. JUST CAN'T HAVE BOTH. UNLIKE MOST F100'S LISTED THIS TRUCK HAS HAD SEVERAL UPDATES THAT MAKE IT UNIQUE COMPARED TO MOST. FIRST OFF IT HAS A 1997 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL 4.6 DOHC ENGINE THAT HAD ONLY 39,000 ORIGINAL MILES ON IT. IT IS CARBURATED AND HAS MSD IGNITION SYSTEM. THE INTAKE AND ADAPTER PLATE FOR THE TRANS CAME FROM DR. DOHC OUT IN VEGAS. THE ENGINE HAS NEW CARB, ATER PUMP, LTERNATOR AND ALUMINUM RADIATOR WITH DUAL FANS. IT HAS MMR WATER OUTLETS AND INLINE THERMOSTAT. ALL SILICONE HOSES. REMOTE MOUNTED OIL FILTER, EW FUEL PUMP, ELL, INES, ILTERS. OPTIMA RED TOP BATTERY. THE REAR END HAS A NEW POSI UNIT WITH THE STOCK 3:50 GEARS. NEW AXEL BEARINGS AND GM CADILLAC STYLE REAR DISC BRAKES WITH VENTED AND SLOTTED ROTORS. NEW SHORTENED DRIVE LINE. REBUILT C-4 AUTO TRANS. THE FRONT END IS OUT OF A 79 F100 AND HAS ALL NEW BUSHINGS, IEROD ENDS AND DISC BRAKES WITH VENTED AND SLOTTED ROTORS. THE CAB AND PAINT WAS ALREADY DONE WHEN I PURCHASED THE TRUCK. THE SEAT AND CARPET ARE NEW WITH A FEW STAINS ON THE CARPET THAT I HAVE NOT TRIED TO REMOVE YET. IT HAS A DASH PAD ON THE DASH. NICE KENWOOD CD RADIO BUT ONLY ONE LITTLE SPEAKER IN THE STOCK LOCATION IN THE DASH SO LOW QUALITY SOUND. THE WINDSHIELD AND REAR GLASS ARE NEW I THINK AND BOTH SIDE WINDOWS AND REAR HAVE BEEN TINTED. HAS ALL NEW WEATHER STRIPPING ON ALL WINDOWS. THE THINGS THAT NEED ATTENTION WOULD BE THE PAINT AND EMERGENCY BRAKE. THE PAINT IS HOTROD FLAT BLACK I THINK!! IT HAS SEVERAL SCRATCHES AND PLACES THAT WERE NOT DELT WITH WHEN IT WAS PAINTED THE FIRST TIME. THE FRONT BUMPER IS NEW IN BLACK PRIMER BUT HAS SCRATCHES ON THE PASS SIDE END. I WAS GOING TO INSTALL LOKAR EMG BRAKE CABLES AND HANDEL BUT NEVER GOT IT DONE. I HAVE DROVE THIS TRUCK AROUND AND TO SOME CRUISE NIGHTS THE LAST FEW MONTHS AND IT DRIVES DOWN THE ROAD GREAT! IT DOESN'T HAVE POWERSTEERING OR POWER BRAKES BUT IS STILL FUN AND EASY TO DRIVE. ALL YOU EVER SEE IN THESE ARE 302'S OR 360-390'S OR AN OCCASIONAL 429-460. AND SOME %$@#& PUT SBC IN THEM!! UGH!! THIS TRUCK RUNS GREAT AND IS RELIABLE AND WOULD WORK FOR A DAILY DRIVER IF YOU WANTED TO USE IT FOR THAT. A LITTLE HIGHER GEAR AND IT WOULD GET GREAT MILAGE TOO. I WILL TRY TO ANSWER ALL QUESTIONS ASAP. I HAVE A LOW RESERVE ON IT COMPARED TO SOME OF THE TRUCKS ON HERE. IF IT HAD NEW PAINT I WOULD BE ASKING A LOT MORE FOR IT.
