1929 Ford Roadster Pick-up Professionally Built Featured on the Cover of “Car Culture Delux” This Month! “This month’s feature car on Car Culture Delux and its just about as cool as cool can get”. The truck is era specific and has all been professionally built. Wow, ere is another perfect example of a hot commodity in the market place right now. This 1929 Ford roadster pick up is fully restored inside and out, ith every part rebuilt, eplaced, r upgraded, ou can drive this classic anywhere in style and comfort. This pick up started as a stock 1929 Ford Model A Roadster Pick Up and then the fun began. The 4 banger Model A engine built by H&H Antique Ford Engine Rebuilding in La Crescenta, as built to "Touring Specifications", nd this is as close to Pre War traditional as you can get. Stock Model A top loader transmission re-built with synchronized 2nd and 3rd gears, ew clutch disc w/sure grip lining. The stock frame was powder coated and the stock Model A rear spring with Reversed Eyes was de-arched by Deaver's Spring, anta Ana. A Brookville shortened bed was added, he seat was modified and covered with MBZ canvas as was the custom tonneau cover top. The black finish with red accents sets this beauty off to perfection and is reminiscent of the early hot rod style. Cooling was important and includes new stock type, Leakless" water pump, nd the stock Model A radiator was cleaned and pressure tested. For exhaust the owner went with 1-5/8 inch flathead tube header, et coated silver, ith new 1-5/8 inch exhaust pipes with single Smitty muffler. The rear end remains stock using Model A housing and tubes, owder coated, ll new bearings, ith ring and pinion gears set up to 3:54. When building a hot rod, raking is always a concern, o the owner chose early juice 40-48 Ford backing plates and drums, owder coated, intage brake scoops, ast aluminum finned polished and painted. Everything on this modern example of a era spectic Hot Rod was professionally built.
