Description of 1985 Ford Mustang

All forged stroker motor,Roller cam,and link bar lifters, roller rockers,Vic jr. ported polished heads, air gap intak, holley 850 double pumper carb, probe forged 14 cc custom ground dish pistons, this engine has eagle, scat, lunati, edelbrock, holley, prw, ford racing, erson, and msd.Over $7000 in engine alone.Car has 5 lug 4 wheel disk brake conversion, new shocks, lowering springs with a 5 speed trans, and a 8.8 rear end with 355 gears.7 quart pan, headers into flow masters turned down at rear axle,gm power steering pump, cobra booster with a proportion valve, breaks work great.Aluminum performance radiator,Twin electric fans, ew cooper tires.ect,ect,ect.Have receipts for about all of it.The car drives good runs good, and handles really well.I have had the motor out of the car 2 times trying to stop a rear main oil leak. The last time was about 300 miles ago,I completely rebuilt the engine, new rings, rod, and main bearings, and gaskets.I put in the third new rear main seal, and a redi sleeve, put her back together, put her in the car started it up drove it about 100 miles got back home, looked under the car,had a oil leak.I have talked to the man that did all my machine work,he told me probably the only way to stop it would be to machine the block for a one piece seal.I just drive it, f I am going to cruise or go to a show I just wire a catch pan under it so as not to drip. The rear fender wells were butchered up when I bought it,didn't matter to me I was just trying to build a good little hot rod. There's thing I have forgotten that I will post as I remember them, any questions just call 828-964-6998. I will be honest in everything I tell you about the car,I don't have to sell it, ust found a little Plymouth I want. This is not in any fashion a show car,it is just a really, really fast hot rod.The reserve isn't much more than the opening bid, that's a steal for this car,I built the car and have owned it for 5 years,I am 67 years old the car has never been raced or abused. Thanks.---- Compression ratio 11.4-1,combustion chamber 55 c, good street manners, live in Boon N,C, rive it in heavy traffic all the time, handles really well.No rust at all.The build on this car should be 500 to 550 hp easily. You want be disappointed, especially with what you can buy it for. New heater core, and a/c evaporator core installed at time of build.
