Description of 1964 Ford Thunderbird

This carfresh out of the barn and there is no reserve on the auction.This car is a little rough perhaps itis basicallya parts car, r but I have seen far worse restored to pristine condition and this one has some good bones. It is missing the motor but is otherwisepretty complete.If you are restoring a car likethis, t would be a greatcar to pick the parts you needfor your restorationand sell off the rest and break even orperhaps make a little extra to fund your restoration. Priced to sell!

Finish -- Grade D-: Very weathered, ppears it may have been re-painted since new.
Body -- Grade C-: Body has some great sheet metal; doors, runk lid, ood and front fenders are very solid and rust free. Please view photos closely. Drivers quarter, ront floorboards and trunk have heavy rust

Frame -- Grade B-: Some scale but solid with no rust or damage. Frame is straight and never damaged in an accident.

Bumpers - Grade C-: Bumpers are straight originals with patina.
Bright work — Grade B : All trim is on the car. Other then some some very light patina is all original and will clean up well.

Glass Grade B+ : All original glass in very good condition. All rubber and fuzzies are original and will need replacement.

Interior D- : It has been disassembled, nsure why, owever appears complete other them missing rear bottom seat cushions, ome water and rodent damage

Wheels GradeOK : Factory correct steel wheels 14 X 6 missing factory original hubcaps
Tires GradeC : Early bias ply tires, weather checking, xcellent tread, olds air, olls down the road smooth, o idea on the age, ill need to be replaced due to age.
Suspension Grade OK: Visual check, s complete with no signs of damage.

Exhaust Grade NOT OK: No exhaust system whatsoever.

Rear-end Grade OK: Numbers matching original rear 9 inch factory differential.

Transmission Grade OK: Out of car but is the original transmission
Brakes GradeE: Power Brakes with drums all around. Missing power booster andmaster cylinder

Engine Grade E: Missing engine but do have the radiator, arb and generator.

Summary:

I see this as a great car for parts for your restoration, f you are restoring a car this would be a great car to pick the parts you need from and sell off the rest and break even or even make a little extra to fund your restoration. I have seen far worse restored, nd this could be a great base for a restoration/hot rod project due it being fairly complete and really cheap.

Car also comes with two great resource books, he Thunderbird Restoration Guide by William Wonder and the Thunderbird Chronicles Coffee Table book.
