Description of 1970 Ford Mustang

1970 Mustang Mach 1 Rolling Project Car. Up for auction is a nice 1970 Mustang Mach 1 rolling project car with a rare color combination. This white with Ginger interior Mach 1 is one of only 202 cars produced with this paint & trim code. This car came with a 351 Windsor and FMX automatic transmission but both are gone. There has been some work already done. both the rear quarters are the originals but have lower patches and need more work. The doors are from a 1969 and need extensive repair. I have an extra set of doors which are much better that are included. the fenders and hood need only minor repair. The trunk and taillight panel are very nice with no rust. The front frame rails. shock towers. fender aprons and radiator support is in excellent condition. This whole front section was installed from a rust free car. The drivers floor pan has been replaced and there are some patches on the passenger side. The rear frames rails have also been repaired. The interior does need some work but has a nice set of deluxe seats. both front and rear. This is a very good project car with a solid foundation and is a true Mach 1 with the air conditioning option. This car does roll and steer for easy transport.
