Description of 1966 Ford Mustang

**Please remember this car is a Survivor - Not restored. There are bumps and bruises as any car or person would have that is now a golden 49 years old!!
This car survived a new driver in 1966!
This car survived the muscle car hacks of the late 60's and 70's
The car survived the hippies of the 70's and the Disco 80's!
It made it through the 90's and today it still lives for a daily driver!
This is a numbers matching 66 Mustang base model car I have owned for about 3 years now.
I purchased it from a good friend for a whole bunch of money because it was sitting for some time after overheating.
After having it towed home I replaced the following: (I am a professional mechanic)
- Fuel tank including filler, uel lines from rear to front and rebuilt carburetor
- Rebuilt engine with .060 over including new valves and guides - less than 1000 miles on engine
- Transmission was rebuilt 10 years before and shortly before car was parked
- GM alternator, ew battery
- New front suspension arms
- New brake everything - everything
- Everything works great
- New reproduction exhaust in box ready to install
This car runs perfect. You can hop in, rive across the country or circumnavigate it without an issue.
I am listing it for sale because I am looking to whittle down my collection of cars. This is the last american car I have. The rest are imports that need millions of hours of love
