: 1968 Ford Club Wagon Chateau 123 This van is in exceptional condition, he engine purrs and fires right up. The 3 speed column shifter is tight and easy to go into all 3 gears including reverse. The body has a couple minor blemishes that are photo'd but there is no rust!! this van is solid. I received it with no rear seats because it was last used to haul and display antiques since the van itself was an antique and its running condition is phenomenal it really played the part. The 44k miles are 100% original and it shows. The front carpet and dash pad should be replaced to finish the overall exceptional condition of the van but I figured I could leave this to the next buyer. Very recently the fuel tank, arb, rake soft lines, ear shocks, tc were replaced. The fuel gauge does not currently work and I did not look into why. Just over the weekend I drove the van roughly a hour commute and getting up to speeds around 60mph and no issues or worries. Due to the older tires I would recommend a commute within a couple hours for transport home but they still feel fine and hold air without any problems. You are purchasing a great piece of history, his van can serve so many purposes. These old girls are rarely seen and especially in such great condition. Thank you and feel free to ask any questions. |
